It is amazing, how easy it is to get derailed from your plans. My plans for the long weekend included a bunch of work planting flowers and catching up on projects. Instead, it’s so far been a couple surprise interviews and an extended effort at fixing my phone.

Which is a great touchpoint into holding our plans loosely. Our Lord knows what we need and sometimes that’s just a reminder that we are not in control, and that He is. We may make plans, but He is the one who directs out steps.

May that thought encourage humility in us and bring us closer to Christ.
