Musing 55

I think I’ve written before how having a child really does make you look around and want to make things better (if not, then in one of the other online venues I talk frequently in). While I did want to see the world around me improve, having a child really put that thought into the forefront of my mind, along with the anxiety of “how do I pay for all this” (truly, turning into my dad as I get older).

There are so many ways to do that. Whether that is a cause near and dear to your heart, or just getting to better know your neighbors so as to reduce our communal isolation, there are so many ways to improve both our worlds and the world at large.

As Christians, we ought to want to do good for our neighbors, and we can’t do that if we aren’t in the world, ready to do good where we can. Seize the opportunity to become involved in the world at large (whether the physical or virtual worlds) and seek to show Christ’s love where we can.
