As the 2nd half of the year gets into full swing, I’m continually amazed at how quickly the old saying “the days are long, and the years are short” becomes truer and truer.

Especially since having a child, I feel like just yesterday I was at her birth, and today she’s almost 3 feet tall . . . and she’s still not old enough to talk.

Which also hits home how short life is. We only have a short time on this world, and we must give account for it. May we use that time well for God’s glory.
