And the AI news keeps coming. One of the newer chatGPTs apparently found another counterexample for a graph theory problem.

What has especially struck me with this disproof is that, while the hype portrays AI as the new frontier in math, it really is just “LLMs do the brute forcing of computation, looking for whatever will stick”.

Which in its own way, is comforting for the moment. It definitely eases the anxiety that despite how good it can be, there are still limitations.

But only God knows where the limitations of current AI will end up being. And I trust that His providence is pointing us towards an end for His glory.
